20 Nov 2009Hackers have circumvented the changes in Mac OS X 10.6.2 to allow the latest upgrade to Apple’s Snow Leopard to run on netbooks with Intel Atom processors.
If you’re using a Hackintosh then you might want to hold off on the OS X 10.6.2 update, because for all its bug fixes, it lacks the Intel Atom support necessary for our beloved Hackintosh netbooks. Update.

Apple’s top-of-the-line 27-inch iMacs, powered with Intel quad-core processors, have begun shipping to those who purchased the machines in October, AppleInsider has learned.

Well, if there won’t be a workaround that will allow you to upgrade to Mac OS X 10.6.2 then you should stick to Snow Leopard 10.6.1 or Leopard 10.5.8 because 10.5.9 will also kill Atom processors support when available. …
