Google sneaks WebKit HTML 5 support into Internet Explorer

24 Sep 2009Rather than waiting for Microsoft to implement HTML 5, Google has released a plugin for Internet Explorer 8 that injects its own WebKit rendering engine, resulting in a ten fold performance boost for JavaScript.
